Melting Pot of St. Petersburg

We regret to announce that The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg has closed for business indefinitely as of Monday, April 13, 2020.

We regret to announce that The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg has closed for business indefinitely as of Monday, April 13, 2020.

The franchisor, The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc., has been actively seeking a new location in Pinellas County to debut a new flagship Melting Pot, incorporating the legacy brand’s new design evolution. The owners of the property on 4th Street, where the St. Petersburg’s Melting Pot resides, have elected to sell the property. The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg was forced to close its dining room on March 20 due to a state ban on dine-in service, and the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the real estate owner’s decision to sell the property.

The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., based in Tampa, Fla., plans to return to Pinellas County better than ever. We look forward to being able to share an exciting new Melting Pot evolution design and interactive dining offerings with you, our fondue family.

While sites are actively being pursued within St. Petersburg, no location has been secured at this time. Details on the new Pinellas County location and re-opening timeline will be announced once available.

We appreciate the opportunity to have served the St. Petersburg community for over 32 years at this location.

When the dine-in service ban is lifted, we invite the community to continue to enjoy fondue at the nearest Melting Pot locations in Tampa or Sarasota.

If you have purchased Melting Pot gift cards, please note that they may be used nationwide at any of our locations and have no expiration date. The Melting Pot of Sarasota and Tampa will accept dip certificates and other vouchers from The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg.

We appreciate your patronage and apologize for any inconvenience.
