In keeping with our core Mission, Vision and Principles, The Melting Pot supports the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® in the fight against childhood cancer.

Each year, The Melting Pot sponsors fundraising programs at its locations across the country and donates funds directly to St. Jude. The Melting Pot also sponsors the Fondue A Cure for Childhood Cancer promotion. With every purchase of The Melting Pot's new fondue chocolate bar, $1 of the purchase price will be given to the hospital. In 2008 The Melting Pot Restaurants joined St. Jude Children's ResearchHospital® in the fifth annual Thanks and Giving® campaign from November 1st toDecember 31st to "give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give tothose who are not."

With each purchase of a four-course "Big Night Out" dinner, the restaurants will donate $1 to St. Jude. With every donation of $10 or more, guests will receive a Fondue for the Kids Card that offers $20 off any purchase of $50 or more. All proceeds from the Fondue for the Kids Card will be donated to St. Jude. The Melting Pot restaurants also offer additional support for St. Jude with the ongoing Fondue a Cure for Childhood Cancer signature chocolate fondue bars. For each $5 bar purchased, $1 is given to the hospital. Restaurants can also raise funds for St. Jude by hosting individual fundraisers, ranging anywhere from wine dinners to car washes to golf tournaments.

Each year, The Melting Pot sends servers from across the nation whoraise the most money for St. Jude during the previous year's Thanks andGiving® campaign to Memphis to tour the hospital and feedchocolate fondue to a very special group of children. The funds raised through 2008's Thanks and Giving® campaign brought The Melting Pot's total monies raised for St. Jude to over 4 million dollars.
