Our 29 step Discovery Process is designed for you to evaluate our franchise and for us to evaluate you as a candidate. The following Candidate Checklist outlines the major steps in securing a Melting Pot franchise:

  1.   Complete and Submit Web Request Form at www.meltingpot.com.
  2.   Receive the Request For Consideration (RFC) and Candidate Checklist
  3.   Complete and Submit the Completed RFC for Each Partner.
  4.   Complete & Submit Franchise Application, Proof of Liquidity, and Background Release.
  5.   Receive FDD - Franchise Disclosure Document.
  6.   Contact Lending Source to Begin Preliminary Approval Process.
  7.   Research Liquor License Requirements.
  8.   Schedule FDD Q&A Review with TMPRI (The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc)
  9.   Submit Questions to TMPRI for FDD Q&A Review.
  10.   Complete FDD Q&A Review Conference Call.
  11.   Receive Certification Number and Begin Due Diligence with Melting Pot Franchisees.
  12.   Complete & Submit FranchiZe Profile.
  13.   Submit Complete Management Plan.
  14.   Submit Preliminary Finance Approval Letter from Lender.
  15.   Preliminary Approval to Proceed Granted by Executive Team.
  16.   Schedule Decision Day Visit to TMPRI.
  17.   Receive Complete Set of Executable Franchise Agreements & Franchise Related Documents.
  18.   Attend Decision Day.
  19.   Sign Franchise Agreements & Related Documents & Submit Fees Due.
  20.   Complete Development/Next Steps Training.

After you have successfully completed the required steps 1 through 14, you may be invited to join us in Tampa, Florida for Decision Day.
