The Melting Pot is committed to making a difference in the lives
of children battling catastrophic illnesses at St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital®. That dedication has made for a successful
partnership with St. Jude through the annual Thanks and
Giving® campaign and other year-round fundraising initiatives.
In its sixth year as a partner, The Melting Pot and St. Jude have
united in their missions to “take care of families.”
Franchise owners and team members across the country can
take great pride in The Melting Pot’s contributions to help raise
funds and awareness for St. Jude. As a St. Jude partner, The
Melting Pot also provides invaluable awareness of the mission
of St. Jude year round, sharing our message of hope with
customers across the country. For your continued support of the
lifesaving work of St. Jude, we thank you.
2008 marks a fifth consecutive year of participation in the
Thanks and Giving program, and The Melting Pot has once again
risen to the challenge for the kids of St. Jude. In total, The Melting
Pot has raised more than $4 million in donations for the hospital.
In 2008, the in-store Thanks and Giving campaign ran from Nov. 1
to Dec. 31, 2008, and 141 restaurants united with the internal goal
to raise more money for St. Jude than ever before. This goal was
accomplished. The Melting Pot raised nearly $1 million, making
this year’s donation total the largest donation in the six-year
partnership of The Melting Pot and St. Jude. This year’s campaign
included a “Fondue for the Kids” gift card to receive $20 off a future
purchase for a donation of $10 or more.
