$10 of every pot of cheese purchased will be donated to the Assistance League of San Antonio.
Assistance League of San Antonio touched the lives and needs of over 60,000 members of the San Antonio Community last year. Their 7 philanthropic programs are carried out through agencies, schools or organizations, which request the services.
I’m In Charge – reached over 15,000 elementary students with a program about personal safety.
Operation School Bell – provided personal supplies and school clothes for nearly 4,600 at risk children. Togs for Tots – provided clothing for more than 5,100 infants and preemies, toddlers and preschoolers. Watch Me Grow – distributed over 23,000 booklets as a guide for parents about the developmental stages of their children.
C.A.P.S. – donated 1,500 caps last year to acutely ill children and teens in local hospitals
College Scholarships – award $26,000 to qualifying junior and senior college students.
Adopt A Resident – gave gifts of time and friendship to 70 Chandler Nursing Home residents in personal visits and monthly parties and sponsored Angel Tree for holiday gifts.
100% of the philanthropic work of Assistance League of San Antonio is done by volunteers who gave nearly 68,550 volunteer hours last year. They are striving each year to increase the outreach in the San Antonio area community.
