Martin Scott Wines will host this fondue and wine tasting event. A representative from the organization will be pairing various wines from California’s Cline Cellars to complement each fondue meal. Come enjoy a four-course meal paired with a range of wines (five of them) for just $60 per person!

The Melting Pot Appeared on News 12 Westchester
Our restaurant appeared on News 12 Westchester on February 12, 2010. During the segment, we demonstrated how to make Banana Foster and Dark Chocolate Raspberry fondues. Both recipes serve four-six people and are featured in our famous Melting Pot Cookbook. The book is available for purchase at our restaurant for just $29.95. If you would like it inscribed, just let us know.
Here are the recipes:
Bananas Foster Fondue (page 112)
- 4 oz white chocolate
- 1/2 banana, thinly sliced
- 4 ozs caramel ice cream topping
- 1 teaspoon of banana liqueur
- 1 teaspoon of spiced rum
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Fondue (page 117)
- 12 ozs dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons of raspberry liqueur (we recommend Chambord)
Instructions:
Break the chocolate into pieces and place them into a double boiler to melt (watch chocolate closely to ensure it doesn't burn). Once completely melted, slowly stir in the remaining ingredients. Keep fondue warm over a low heat. Enjoy with your favorite dippers such as strawberries, pretzels, marshmallows, brownies and pound cake.
The Melting Pot Caters to People with Food Allergies and Celiac Disease
Please let us know upon making your reservation of any food allergies and sensitivities. Our staff is regularly trained to handle questions about food allergens and will provide you with a complete list of the foodstuffs in our menu to help you select your meal. Many of our menu items can be modified to be gluten-free, tree nut-free, garlic-free, seafood-free, fish-free, egg-free and soy-free. We are also a member of The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG).
The Melting Pot of White Plains is delighted to be working with two allergy-conscious bakeries. Upon request we will be serve gluten-free cheesecake, brownies and bread from Three Dogs Gluten Free Bakery in Briarcliff Manor, NY and allergen free (free of gluten, soy, egg, nut, wheat and dairy) cupcakes and pound cake from Izzi B's Allergen Cupcakes in Norwalk, CT.
The Melting Pot Offers Tasty Vegetarian Options
We are recommended by The American Vegetarian Association. Besides our cheese, chocolate and salad choices, we also offer a very popular vegetarian entree that includes fresh vegetables, tofu, artichoke hearts, portobello mushrooms and ravioli. Please also note that all of our cheeses are made with rennets of non-animal origin (vegetable and microbial only).
