The Melting Pot of Washington D.C. is located just South of Dupont Circle on 19th Street between M and N Streets, NW. We offer curbside valet service for $8.00 a vehicle on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Metro: Take the Red Line to the Dupont Circle stop and take the South exit out of the station. The escalator will put you facing down 19th Street. Walk down 19th for a block and a half and we are on the right hand side.
From Arlington: Take 66 East towards Washington DC. Route 66 East turns into Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue and make a left turn onto 18th Street. Follow 18th Street North and cross over M Street. At the next light, make a left turn onto Jefferson Place. This one way street will dead end into 19th Street. The Melting Pot Restaurant will be in front of you on the right. Valet service will be in front of the large glass atrium.
From Bethesda: Take Wisconsin Avenue and turn left one block past Massachusetts Avenue onto Garfield. Take Garfield to Massachusetts Avenue and turn right. Follow Mass. to Dupont Circle and stay on the outside lanes. Follow about 1/4 of the circle and turn right onto 19th street. The Melting Pot Restaurant is a block and a half down on the right hand side of the street.
From College Park: Take Baltimore Avenue to Logan Circle. Stay on the outside lanes. About 1/4 around the circle turn on to P Street. Take P Street to Dupont Circle. Again, stay on the outside lanes. About 3/4 around the circle, turn right onto 19th Street. The restaurant is a block and a half down on the right.
From 395/Alexandria: Take 395 North over the 14th Street Bridge. Continue on 14th Street to K Street. Turn left on K Street and follow until 18th Street and turn right. Take 18th Street pass M Street. At the next light turn left onto Jefferson Place. Jefferson Place intersects with 19th Street. The Melting Pot Restaurant is across on the right hand side. The Valet service will be in front of the large glass atrium.
From 495: Take the George Washington Parkway exit. Take GW Parkway to the Rosslyn/Key Bridge Exit. This exit puts you on the Key Bridge. Stay in the far right lane. About 2/3 over, take the right exit (there is a small sign indicating this is the way towards downtown). This is Whitehurst Freeway. Stay in the left lane and this turns into K Street. Take K Street to 18th Street and turn left. Pass M Street and at the next light turn left onto Jefferson Place. Jefferson Place intersects with 19th Street. The restaurant is across on the right. The valet service will be in front of the large glass atrium.
From 270: Take I 270 to 495 towards Virginia. Then follow above directions from 495.
From Baltimore/Baltimore-Washington Parkway: Take the B-W Parkway to 50 West towards Washington DC. 50 West turns into New York Avenue. Continue on New York Avenue for about 3.5 miles. At Mount Vernon Square, merge onto Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts Avenue passed Thomas and Scott circles. The third circle will be Dupont Circle. Stay on the outside lanes. Go 3/4 around the circle and turn right onto 19th Street. We are a block and a half down on the right.
