The Melting Pot of Pittsburgh is always seeking talented individuals for our location in Station Square! We are looking for staff members to join us in providing the Perfect Night Out to our guest and continue our success of being one of Pittsburgh's top Restaurants! We are seeking Full-Time & Part-Time positions for  Hostess, Servers &  Busser / Server Assistants.

Servers

Melting Pot is service staff are an elite crew. Our staff is empowered to go above and beyond for our guests. The extended dining experience allows you to connect with the guest to provide an exceptional experience. If you have hospitality in your heart we want you and your guests will reward you.

  • Ability to continuously stand or walk.
  • Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Stay abreast of established safety practices and hazardous materials awareness.
  • Maintain acceptable appearance and conduct standards.
  • Minimum of 2 years serving experience, Fine Dinning or Corporate Brand Preferred.

 

Hospitality Specialist (Host)

It has been proven that the first and last impressions are undoubtedly the most lasting. Whether addressing a guest over the telephone or in person, the hospitality specialist is instrumental in conveying the level of enthusiasm which has given The Melting Pot its name.

  • Answering phones and making reservations, and showing guest to their table.
  • Opening doors and greeting guests entering and exiting the restaurant, establishing a professional, hospitable rapport with each guest.
  • Maintains positive guest relations and exceeds guests’ expectations by promoting and reinforcing The Melting Pot culture of the The Perfect Night Out®.
  • Performs as part of the team, executing opening, running and closing side-work assignments.
  • No Previous Experience Required.

 

Busser / Server Assistant:

They keep the restaurant stable as guests come and go. They provide fast and clean table turns, making it possible for guests to be seated more efficiently. They give strength to the entire operation as they quietly and steadily work to keep each department moving forward. As a SA, it’s important you understand your role in supporting all aspects of the operation.  

  • Ability to continuously stand or walk.
