Cindy Haynes Joins Front Burner Brands as Senior Vice President of Marketing



TAMPA, Fla. – (Dec. 7, 2010) – Front Burner Brands, which houses concepts such as The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc. (http://www.meltingpot.com), GrillSmith Inc. (http://www.grillsmith.com), Burger 21 (http://www.burger21.com) and other concepts in development, announces Cindy Haynes as the new senior vice president of marketing.
    Haynes is responsible for overseeing the marketing department including creative direction and services, local marketing efforts and communications programs that support 143 Melting Pot locations in North America and more than 20 units in development internationally and domestically, six GrillSmith restaurants, Burger 21 (just opened its first location in Westchase) as well as other concepts.
    “On the heals of a down economy, it is crucial for these brands to focus on a new approach to marketing, and I believe my abilities to challenge the past and address business objectives with a fresh perspective will help steer the company into a prosperous future,” Haynes said.  “I’m honored to join the Front Burner Brands family.”
    Prior to joining The Melting Pot, Haynes was a senior vice president and team leader for 22squared, Inc. (formerly known as WestWayne, Inc.), an advertising agency in Tampa, Fla., where she was responsible for managing clients such as Shoe Carnival Inc., Publix Super Markets Inc., Roadhouse Grill Inc., and more by developing branding, traffic and sales-driving campaigns.
    Formerly, Haynes was the senior account executive at FKQ Advertising in Clearwater, Fla., managing accounts such as McDonald’s, Dollar Rent-A-Car and Melitta North America, Inc., by creating custom promotions and programs that translate national advertising into local store marketing. 
With a diverse professional background including restaurants, retail, integrated advertising and marketing, Haynes brings more than 20 years of demonstrated leadership and fiscal results to Front Burner Brands.
    A graduate from the University of South Florida, Haynes earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in mass communications specializing in advertising with an emphasis on business.
    Haynes sits on the board of the USF Zimmerman Advertising Program and resides in Tampa, Fla., with her husband, John, and daughter, Olivia.
