Well done Michael Astuto and his team at The Melting Pot in Westwood. For the second
time in three years they were recognized by the franchise for their outstanding service
to our guests with a "Top Performer" award (see picture, right). Added to their "Award of
Excellence" for 2008 from the Wine Spectator (their fourth) it has been quite a year and much deserved
for how hard they work to provide our guests with a special evening.
Reservations Online Are Easy
For our guest's convenience you can make a reservation on the web for parties of
6 or less. Larger parties need to contact the restaurant so a manager can ensure
availability and help you plan your menu. For weekend reservations we suggest
calling well in advance. In the event you are unable to honor your reservation,
please call to cancel.

Thank You For Helping Us Help St. Jude
During November and December a portion of all sales of any "Big Night Out" will
be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. This is the fourth year we
have had this program. This is a wonderful organization that does ground-breaking
research on children's cancers and freely shares it with the world for FREE! No
family is ever turned away because they cannot afford treatment. A huge "Thank

Book Your Party At The Melting Pot
In October we opened our new extension and now have an additional private
dining room for 30. The room is beautiful and very private, has a wine display
and original works by renowned artist, Yuri Tremler, and audio-visual equipment.
The main dining room seats 64 and the small party room 16. You can print and
import the Fondue Banquet menu by visiting "banquet/event information." Dates
for "prime time" holiday parties are filling up so please make your reservation
soon.
Fondue is fun and nobody does it better. Please call Michael or Bruce to make
your arrangements
and reserve a date.

Hospitality Industry Nights - NEW!
If you work in the hospitality industry, a restaurant or hotel, on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays we will take 15% off your party's check for the evening. We know
you will love our restaurant and will take care of the staff if they take good care
of you. Please bring proof of employment. Not combinable with any other offers.
Vegetarian Selections
We are accredited to The American Vegetarian Association. Besides our cheese,
chocolate and salad choices we also have a popular Vegetarian entrée that includes
fresh vegetables, tofu, artichoke hearts, Portobello mushrooms and Ravioli. We
also offer a Vegetarian "Big Night Out." Please note that none of our cheese contains
animal rennet. We use only vegetable or microbial rennet.

Gift Certificates
The Melting Pot gift certificates can be purchased at the restaurant, or we can
mail them to you. More than likely there is now one of the 130+ Melting Pots not too far from
your relatives, friends and children in college. They do not expire and are purchased free
of Sales Tax.
Magic at The Melting Pot
On most Friday evenings our guests get to enjoy the table side magic of our
house magician and mentalist, Mike Kirschner. His comedic timing and technical
skills make him one of the most sought out performers and he has traveled the
world with his act. We are fortunate to have him on a regular basis. For more

The Westwood Melting Pot is excited to share with you some of the wonderful
images you will walk away with after visiting us. We are proud of our restaurant

The following photo is the "Party Room." This comfortable and private room seats
15 in 2 tables of 8. To arrange a special family or business function and pre-order
dinner and wines, please ask to speak one of the Managers. We also have a new
Party room that seats 30 and is very private and as audio/visual equipment.
The photo next to the "Party Room" is what we affectionately call "Lovers' Lane."
This room is perfect for a romantic evening with someone special. The 2 seat
private booths are much in demand. We can arrange for flowers, wine or
champagne to be waiting at the table.
The photo to the right of "Lover's Lane" is our Main Dining Room. This view of the
restaurant shows the main dining room with the wine room in the background.
The bottom photo is a photo of our beautiful entrance. The restaurant features
include faux marble columns, a fireplace and 9 pieces of original art by Uri Tremler.

Directions / Map: From Hackensack (approx 7 miles):
Take Kinderkamack Road (Route 503N) through River Edge, Oradell and Emerson. Entering Westwood, turn left at the traffic light onto Westwood Ave (the main street with many nice shops). Center Ave. is the 2nd road on the right. The Melting Pot is in the car park on the left.
From Montvale and Park Ridge (approx 4 miles):
Take Kinderkamack Road (Route 503S). In Westwood, turn right at the traffic light into Westwood Ave. Center Ave is the 2nd road on the right. The Melting Pot is in the car park on the left.
From Ridgewood and Glenrock (approx 6 miles):
Take Ridgewood Avenue to Oradell. Turn left at the traffic light onto Kinderkamack Road (Route 503N). Go through Emerson. Entering Westwood, turn left at the traffic light onto Westwood Ave (the main shopping street). Center Ave is the 2nd road on the right. The Melting Pot is in the car park on the left.
Alternatively, pick up Hollywood Road in HoHoKus and follow 502E all the way to The Iron Horse in Westwood. Cross the railroad tracks into Westwood Ave (the main street with the nice shops). Center Ave is the 1st left. The Melting Pot is located in the car park on the left.
From Exit 168 Garden State Parkway going North:
Turn right onto Washington Ave (Route 502E). Go approximately 2 miles to the Iron Horse, cross the railroad tracks and bear left into downtown on Westwood Ave. Center Ave is the 1st road on the left. The Melting Pot is in the car park on the left.
